Rep. Darrell Issa’s decision to press on with his House panel’s Benghazi investigation, despite the creation of a new select committee to look into the 2012 terror attack in Libya, is an indication the California Republican is “going rogue,” a leading Democrat said Tuesday.

Rep. Elijah E. Cummings said that Issa, chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, is undermining the new special select committee created by Speaker John A. Boehner and chaired by Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C.

“I think he is going rogue,” Issa, the ranking Democrat on the Oversight Committee, said in an appearance on MSNBC’s “Politics Nation” with Al Sharpton. “I actually believe that Chairman Issa is out of control, I really believe that.”

The Oversight Committee, under Issa’s leadership, has been conducting its own probe of Benghazi, and will hear testimony from Secretary of State John Kerry on June 12.

Boehner, announcing the new select committee earlier this month, said in a statement that it was time for the House “to respond as one institution, and establish one select committee. A committee with robust authority. A committee that will do its work while the House continues to focus on the people’s priorities.”

Issa and Cummings have had high-profile clashes on the Oversight Committee on Benghazi and other issues.

Let’s face it–Darell Issa isn’t going rogue. He just can’t get over his addiction. Addictions are hard to break and Issa’s got the mother of all addictions–the Press Release addiction. Defined by those who know: the press release addiction is the inability to take any position without broadcasting it to the widest possible swath of media–new and old.
Is Issa so upset that he can’t let a Congressional committee take care of business-the business of “investigating” the so-called Benghazi-gate affair? Or is he more upset that someone else may get the spotlight he so desperately craves? Come on, Darrell, lighten up. There’s always Dancing with the Stars!

If anybody here is interested in trading I recently found a great website and they are running a special right now. Just Google the website Traders Superstore, this is an excellent place to go to learn to trade. I’m glad I found them because they are nice people and very helpful and knowledgeable about trading. And their support is the best I’ve seen I email them in the email me back in five minutes, it’s really a great place they should all be like that.

The truth is that Republicans have grown tired of waiting for Issa to produce useful results and have sidelined him in favor of Gowdy’s Select Committee. Naturally Issa is angry and trying to fight back.
