House Democrat: Look for Obama Impeachment if GOP Wins

During a Twitter town hall event Monday, Rep. James E. Clyburn, the assistant minority leader, predicted that if Republicans retain the House, President Barack Obama will be impeached.

Responding to a question from Twitter user @LiberalPhenom asking when Democrats would stand up to Republicans and shut down the talk of Obama’s impeachment, Clyburn didn’t seem to think there was a real way to do that.

Of course, Republicans already hold the House, and if any member wanted a vote on impeachment proceedings, he or she could get it within two legislative days.

While there has been some chatter on the right about impeachment, it’s been Democrats who have been using the talk to their benefit, fundraising off the threat and dinging Republicans for the thus-far-theoretical effort.

When CQ Roll Call checked in with some of the most conservative members of the House, no one seemed ready to draft articles of impeachment — at least not yet.

While Clyburn’s prediction is dependent on Republicans maintaining the House, it will likely be tested. Hardly anyone believes the House will flip control. Instead, this seems like another effort from Democrats to play up the impeachment talk to make the case that, come November, voters should go with Democrats.

… And for goodness sake — for what reason?? He has certainly fulfilled all of his promises hasn’t he? His foreign policy has been flawless hasn’t it? His administration is the ‘MOST TRANSPARENT’ of any in the past isn’t it? He certainly has not violated the Constitution of the USA — HAS HE?

Honestly — what’s the point of reporting comments like this? There’s an obvious political motive in advance of the November 14 elections, and whether or not impeachment would ever happen is obviously beyond our ability to know now.

The point is that Rep. Clyburn has no answer for:

“We have to pass the bill in order to find out what’s in it”.

“If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor”, and my personal favorite:

      “What difference does it make?!!”

Never mind impeaching Barrack Obama. Impeach Attorney General Eric Holder and Director of National Intelligence James Clapper for their perjury before congress on two separate occasions in 2012.

Along the way, one might also bother to ask our President; exactly why these two despicable men continue to enjoy his special trust and confidence? There was once a time in the country when an official lying under oath to a competing branch of government was a very (very) serious crime indeed. Not so much anymore…ehh?

    Exitus acta probat…I guess.

He has violated the Constitution. He signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA). This allows the military to kidnap any U.S citizen and even murder them without a trail. He is turning America into a dictatorship and half of Americans don’t even see that this is happening. What ever happened to land of the free! We all need to come together and impeach him.

Please don’t play the impeachment card just to get the liberal base out to vote based on fear of this unlikely event ever happening. Just play it out, in the event of impeachment the nation would be stuck with Biden, that’s only trading a headache for a bellyache and no one wants that. The best thing to happen for the GOP is for Obama to serve out his term as president with the predictable results.

Is today’s liberalism really any different than its marxist, socialist, and communist ancestors?

At this link we find the liberal manifesto of violent mass-murderer Christopher Dorner:

    Today’s liberalism is basically socialism.

Liberalism, like its marxist, socialist, and communist ancestors, is pretty much a cult. A weird cult.

Liberals, democrats, socialists, marxists, and communists – they’re all the same.
