D.C. Tourism: A First World Problem Cleveland Doesn’t Have

CLEVELAND — Yes, summer in Washington can be a pain, especially if you have relatives or friends who insist you squire them to museums or exhibits or sites that are old hat for residents, as detailed by the Washington Post’s Monica Hesse in a pretty funny story today.

Hesse zeroes in on that particular feeling of being “immune to the embarrassment of riches that is automatically provided when you live in a major metropolitan area.”

But it could be worse, as detailed by this city’s own Mike Polk Jr., whose “Hastily Made Cleveland Tourism Video” and its sequels display what can happen when you do not “live in a major metropolitan area” that is booming and teeming with people who want to visit it all the time:
