Ebola Concerns Escalate, Drug Development Continues

The Centers of Disease Control and Prevention has intensified the U.S. response to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa, which reportedly is worsening. CDC Director Thomas Frieden said in a press briefing on Thursday that the agency is sending dozens more workers to the region, as well as issuing an advisory against non-essential travel to Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone.

Meanwhile, the White House on Thursday updated an executive order listing eligible conditions subject to quarantine. The Atlanta Journal Constitution also reported that an Ebola victim will arrive at an Atlanta hospital today.

CQ HealthBeat’s Kerry Young reported in April on National Institutes of Health plans for an Ebola vaccine and researchers said a vaccine could reach the earliest stage of testing on people by 2016. Separately, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, told CNN on Thursday at an Ebola vaccine trial could produce results early next year.

Ebola virus hemorrhagic fever is a zoonotic disease transmitted to humans by direct contact with infected live or dead animals, and more specifically with their body fluid. Genetic and antigenic characterization of Ebola virus isolates during human outbreaks has led to the identification of four subtypes — Ebola Sudan, E. Zaire, E. Ivory Coast and E. Reston. Ebola Reston originates in Asia and has never been reported to cause human disease, but the other three subtypes circulate on the African subcontinent and are pathogenic for humans, causing a specific febrile hemorrhagic disease. After an incubation period of about 12 days, victims rapidly develop high fever, diarrhoea, vomiting, respiratory disorders and haemorrhaging. Death ensues within a few days. The case fatality rates are about 80% with E. Zaire and 50% with E. Sudan (Pourrut & al., 2005).

The first diagnosed ase was in 1967. I would like to know how much research has been conducted since then to provide a cure and a vaccination to prevent it? My gut feeling is that because it is primarily on a Black populated Continent there has been very little done by any White controlled government.

    And meanwhile, In Russia…

    Vladimir Putin Go Home!

Vladimir Putin is one angry Russian. Talk about
frustration; this old KGB hand is so mad that Mother Soviet Union had to come
crashing into the twenty-first century that he has decided to make believe the
whole thing was just a big historical mistake.

The Soviet Union lives! And if Putin can make that a
reality he will go down in Russian history as the greatest leader

What does Putin really think he’s going to
accomplish by marching into Crimea and Ukraine, ala the Soviet march into
Czechoslovakia in the sixties? Exactly the same thing, that’s what. The world
stood silently by as the Soviets annexed Czechoslovakia and they will stand by
again as the Russian Bear grabs at its “rightful” territories that were split
    apart “by mistake.”

Why will the West stand by, as it always does when
Russian leaders flex their Empire-building muscles? Because there never seems
to be that appetite for another World War. Everyone knows that a bully with
atomic bombs is a bully better left to his own devices.

Is there anything the West can do to head off
further Russian expansion into former Soviet bloc territories? That’s a
question that foreign leaders from Obama to Merkel don’t really want to deal
with, and that’s exactly the way Putin is playing the game. When you hold the
cards, you don’t forfeit the game. This is a very hard set of problems to deal
with and the West is doing what it seems to do best in situations like this.
    It’s punting.

Unless there is a unified strategy coming out of
Brussels in the next few weeks (there won’t be) we can look forward to a
rebirth of something that looks very much like the old Soviet Union–and that’s
always been Putin’s dream. Really, what good is being a brutal Russian dictator
if you don’t have a Soviet Union-style geography behind you? And what’s the
loss of a couple of hundred air travelers?

The first diagnosed case was 1997.what measures are put into place since to provide cure or to prevent it if there is an outbreak weather in W/Africa or Europe. Because it occurs on the black continent there has been less effort applied. Researcher needs to do more to find amicable solution to this deadly disease.

Relax everyone and rest assured – The Ebola deadly disease can be wiped out within a few days, if everybody on Earth starts doing the Personal Virus and Cancer Killer for just a minute a day – then life on Earth will be restored to absolutely normal – all air lines will be serviced by regular flights, the mining and oil industries in Africa will suffer no more losses and will be brought back to their maximum capacity, people will communicate without any fear of any infections at all, they will shake hands, embrace each other, kiss each other, make love to each other and experience what true love is – absolutely free, for everybody will be absolutely untouchable for any infections, cancers, diabetes and strokes and will not give a damn what sort of viruses stalk out there – Ebola, West Nile, SARS, HIV, Colds, Flues, Malaria, Yellow Fever, etc. I got the surefire weapon to eradicate the deadly Ebola virus right away, regardless of its replications and mutations and nobody will get sick or die from this abominable critter any more. The Personal Virus and Cancer Killer is just an exercise for a minute a day for prevention and for 3 minutes a day for max. 7 days to get cured. Ebola and any other bio-terrorist bugs are killed the moment they touch us. To disclose the incredible Personal Virus and Cancer Killer (the greatest discovery in more than 2 million years of humankind on the planet) to everybody, the world leaders gotta pay me 2,25 trillion bucks – the amount of money can be negotiated with each country in the world. Once I get the cash, everybody on Earth will know how to stay absolutely healthy all the time, all life long – never getting sick of any diseases even for a second.

I got the way to prevent the worldwide zombie apocalypse – Cure and Prevention of Ebola are by far more powerful than its spread – I got the mightiest way on Earth to stay absolutely healthy all the time and that is the fastest solution to the Ebola crisis – I got the power (and everybody can possess it) to wipe out Ebola, AIDS, Colds, Flues, T4 Bacteriophage, Measles, Chicken and Small Pox, TB, Polio, Malaria, Dengue, etc. in just a few days – I got my WVD – The Weapon of Virus Destruction – Just an exercise for a minute a day – The cure and prevention of any diseases, known on Earth for more than 2 million years – Infections, Cancers, Diabetes, MS and Strokes – Even Tibetans and Yoga don’t know how to stay absolutely healthy all the time – The price of the WVD for the whole world is 5 billion EURO/BUCKS/BP – Especially dangerous is the T4 Bacteriophage virus, already set in the wild and planned to be shot by mandatory vaccines (as Ebola cure and prevention), but hatched to alter the human DNA of generations to come and to turn them into zombies, i.e. to destroy its recipients – Only my WVD can save everybody from the zombie apocalypse, for that critter of a virus will be killed the moment it gets into our blood stream.

I do agree with all the ideas you have presented in your post. They are very convincing and will certainly work. Still, the posts are too short for newbies. Could you please extend them a little from next time? Thanks for the post.

Write more, thats all I have to say. Literally, it seems as though you relied on the video to make your point. You obviously know what youre talking about, why waste your intelligence on just posting videos to your weblog when you could be giving us something informative to read?

Whats up this is somewhat of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding experience so I wanted to get advice from someone with experience. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
