Capitol Police are looking into threatening statements made against Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

A spokesman for the department on Monday confirmed an ongoing investigation when asked about hostility toward the Nevada Democrat stemming from comments he made about Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy.

Reid said last week that Bundy “revealed himself to be a hateful racist,” after the rancher questioned whether black people may have been better off as slaves. He also called on Republican leaders to “show a united front against this kind of hateful, dangerous extremism by publicly condemning Bundy.”

The Nevada Democrat made an ominous prediction that “something is going to happen” to get the rancher to stop his cattle from grazing on federal land without paying grazing fees. “It’s obvious that you can’t just walk away from this. And we can speculate all we want to speculate to what’s going to happen next,” Reid told KSNV-TV. “But I don’t think it’s going to be tomorrow that something is going to happen, but something will happen. We are a nation of laws, not of men and women.”

When asked how security has increased to protect Reid, Capitol Police spokesman Shennell S. Antrobus declined to provide details.

“We refrain from sharing specific information related to our security posture,” Antrobus said in an email, adding that the information is sensitive and confidential.

Seems that even his surrounding neighbors and communities are now voicing they are afraid and what the armed”militia’s” gone as well. they are setting up roadblocks or stopping points and asking for ID that prove people live there. It seems that the time has come for local law enforcement, state law enforcement in conjunction with US Marshalls (several video cameras in tow) move to the Bundy ranch and place him under arrest as well as those their that threaten any person in law enforcement. The man is a scofflaw, he threatened a range war, has armed people all over now making neighbors afraid. They have internal “Militia” disagreements going on, it is a matter of time before some innocent is killed. They Nevada legislators need to get this under control and move for law enforcement to warrant an arrest for the sake of their citizens as well.

Collectivists are oblivious to the fact that civilization’s advance depends upon social processes that are free from centralized control.
