Marino Staffer Arrested for Bringing Gun to Cannon

Shucard was arrested Friday. (Via Facebook)

Capitol Police arrested a staffer for Rep. Tom Marino Friday morning on charges of carrying a 9mm handgun and magazine into the Cannon House Office building.

Ryan Shucard, the Pennsylvania Republican’s press secretary, was arrested around 9:15 a.m., according to Capitol Police spokeswoman Lt. Kimberly Schneider.

Shucard entered the southeast door of Cannon with the weapon. The Smith & Wesson 9mm and magazine were found during the search required for entry into the building, according to Schneider. People entering Cannon, including those with staff identification badges, like Shucard, are required to step through metal detectors and place bags on the belt of an X-Ray machine.

Shucard is charged with carrying a pistol without a license, a felony. He is currently being processed at Capitol Police headquarters.

Schucard was immediately placed on unpaid leave from Marino’s office, chief of staff Bill Tighe told CQ Roll Call in a phone call. “That will last until we know more about the situation,” Tighe said.

The office of House Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving confirmed the arrest, and a brief closure at Cannon’s entrance.

“Carrying weapons into the District of Columbia is a very serious offense,” an SAA official told CQ Roll Call, adding that there is no discretion for Capitol Hill employees and individuals should be aware of what is in their belonging.

In 2007, a staffer for then-Sen. James Webb was arrested for trying to bring a loaded weapon (that belonged to his boss) into the Russell Senate Office Building.

Either the guy is some kind of a nut who has been listening to too much
hate talk media or it is all a big gimmick meant to draw attention.
Either way, he’ll end up in the slammer where he belongs.

    • BornAgain123

Just curious how you feel about the thugs running the streets of Chicago. If you call a hard-working congressional staffer a “nut” who belongs in the slammer, I’m sure you must have REALLY tough words for Chicago’s finest.

      • HJLester

Do your “thugs” work at Congress? Or are you really comparing some thugs to other thugs?

        • Fred Beloit

Well carrying is one thing, shooting, as in the Chicago cases, is another.

      • Ted Danson

No worse than the thugs in other parts of the country. Just more advertised.

        • Fred Beloit

No. Less worse than firing at people, now isn’t that right?

      • Peg Johnson

Well I posit that this person is a congressional staffer that is not the brightest bulb not to understand the safety policies where he works; there are major restrictions on who, what, when and where you can do things in DC. I know that by simply having to visit relatives that live near the area. But I bet you know nothing about Chicago.

      • Harry Maker

A staffer too stupid to NOT carry a gun where it’s illegal to do so is NOT hard working, he’s just stupid. COPS are required to carry guns in order to arrest idiots who carry guns where it’s illegal.

        • PAP

When the gun lobby start trying to legislate open carry in the capital you will see the congrss take notice My bet they will never do it

    • Scott J

The gun lobbyists are big macho guys who like to take their guns to stores like Chipotle and Target where there are mostly women and children.

      • Engage Gray Matter

If they did….maybe customers at places like Target and Jack in the Box wouldn’t be robbed as much.

        • HJLester

          They do.

        • Iridium Halo

Grow up and put away your dangerous toys. Be a man and walk around without quivering in fear that you might be robbed. Or, if you can’t do that, immigrate to any of the advanced Western Countries where the incidence of gun crime is vastly lower than the US and where no one worries about when and where the next gun massacre is going to happen

          • PAP

They may not worry about it but it does happen. The worst mass murders haven’t involved firearms. Cologne, Germany, 1964. 11 dead, 22 wounded with a home made flamethrower. Osaka prefecture, Japan, 2005. 8 students and 2 teachers killed by janitor with butcher knife. 1990, Bronx, NY. 87 dead in 15 minutes. The weapon? 2 quarts of gasoline. 2003,Santa Monica CA, 10 dead and 58 wounded with a Buick Riviera. You’re the ones that are gutless because you won’t arm yourselves and fight back. Just curl up in a ball and scream like a woman. Keep depending on gun laws to save you.

          • Wayne Patterson

I , as i just stated, have carried a gun for 35 years as a professional soldier, contractor, and leo. I dont fear you or anyone else. I choose to be responsible for my own safety. I know you pxss yourself at the sight of a gun, it isnt my problem. Live with. Its my right. Dont like it? you come take it….YOU, not somebody else, YOU…show your conviction……until then stfu you pos, and talk of things you have a rational grasp of……which i doubt is much

        • bajacalla

one of those “robberies” was actually an open-carry guy. another customer called the cops on him because hey – a gun in a fast food place? first thing you think of IS NOT 2A, but “on the floor, now.”

      • Peg Johnson

That’s because they can’t show their dingle to those people so they substitute with a gun.

        • Scott J

Ha! They are kinda like flashers exposing themselves!

I have no problem with a citizen carrying. I have found mostly fools, cowards, and thugs are afraid of armed citizens

Nor can us law abiding Amurican patriots own surface to air missiles, even though the CONSTITUTION demands that we, the citizens, keep a well maintained militia, which in todays age should include nuclear arms as well. The tyranny of not letting us own bunker busters is a travesty to democracy.

  • martykayzee

Hey, hey – NRA – how many kids did you kill today?

    • Derek

Typical idiot, blame everything but the person. Do you even know how many kids lives have been saved by good people defending themselves or do you not care?

      • martykayzee

Ok, I do care but I don’t know “how many kids lives have been saved by good people defending themselves …” Please tell me exactly “how many kids lives have been saved by good people defending themselves …”

        • Derek

I apologize for calling him an idiot, I usually don’t name call in these forums. The CDC estimates (Obama’s order after Newtown) that guns are used in Self Defense 100K to 200K times per year, while other research has estimated up to 600K times per year. This number is very hard to nail down because not all of these incidents are reported. At the end of the day, good guys with guns save more lives than bad guys with guns take lives. Telling me how many rounds I can hold in my magazine and how many “scary” features my AR can have has never and will never stop the bad guys on the street. Detroit has recently changed position and started allowing its citizens to have firearms and people are defending themselves, and guess what, Crime has dropped 30%.

          • We_s

Isn’t that the third city to have crime rate drop by over 30% once they allowed the citizens to have firearms? Well that goes to show that gun laws do work . . .

          • Derek

Gun laws that support legal gun ownership (Detroit) vs gun laws that ban everything possible (Chicago)

          • manhattanmike

I’ll check on your CDC “research,” but i notice that you have given no numbers for the number of “good guys” who have saved lives or how many lives they have saved.

I believe that is because neither you, nor anyone else, has those numbers. Unfortunately, the NRA and other gun-lover groups have prevented the federal government from determining many of the effects of the ocean of firearms that surrounds us upon public safety.

I has been shown, however, that the presence of a firearm in a family increases the risk that someone in it will die as the result of a gunshot. What a surprise.

          • nicklinc

If guns were used to stop other criminals 600K times per year, America must be a 4th world country. That would estimate 1,600+ murders “stopped” by a “good guy with a gun per day. Could the conservative be full of “it”? Me-thinks so.

One of the main problems with these gun-humpers is the constant fear that comes directly from the NRA, and other conserv outlets that foster a culture of fear, resulting in people who always have a handgun racked and ready to fire. Most handguns do not come with a “safety” anymore, so BillyBob puts down his Glock, lil BillyBob picks it up and “pew, pews” till the real BANG goes off and someone is now hurt and or dead.

Many of us did not take wounds and other injuries, give up decades of our lives in service to our republic, to roll over to axxwipes like you. As i said , keep pushing. You wont like what you reap

          • nicklinc

            Oh my, where to begin…
Okay first we need to discus your obsession with dog abuse, what’s with you conservatives, it’s like your go to, talk about creeps(?), find a mirror buddy. Next we’ll discus your arguments, or better, lack of one. I mean it’s pretty obvious you have no leg to stand on(due to the diabetes?), as all you do is paste non sequitur attacks ripped from a Jim Norton set, instead of actual debating, but that’s all conservatives know how to do. Let’s see, next, the term “racked” is a LE term, spend some time at a range you might learn something, including gun safety, which I highly recommend! Last point is your posting habits, I see you’ve replied to every post from 9pm to 11pm on a Friday night. Let me correct that, you spent an entire Friday night posting about sex acts with dogs! Can you not see the sadness in that? Grow some self respect bro, you must be a very Christian man. LoL(well, sad lol at least). I get it, all of our facts, humanity, and well though points sent you into a fit of impotent rage, I get why you’re mad, bro, but threatening me with physical harm is silly, unless you live here in Quanitco VA, and we can meet for a beer and see how far you can get with those animal abuse jokes around all my Marine brothers…

Life is short my friend, next time, spend your Friday night with your husband/wife/dog(wait, no I don’t trust you with him). Life is short, friend, these hours are precious and few, spend them accordingly.

I’ll leave you with this: let’s see how much of a man you are, post your home address and I will come take your guns, all of them. LoL

This is how police departments across the United States drum up taxpayers money for ineffective “Neighborhood Watch” programs that tell people to call the police whenever they ‘see someone suspicious”… Like you. Or me. Or anyone *they think* doesn’t live in the neighborhood.

Asking vigilantes to call the police from behind drawn curtains just doesn’t have enough macho to get anyone interested. Tell them that guns are good (even though no legitimate Major Metropolitan City Police Sponsored Neighborhood Watch permits civilians to carry weapons while ‘watching’) and you’ll get volunteers.

          • Derek

You go ahead and call 911 (if you can even make it to a phone in time) when someone breaks in your house with ill intent and the police will arrive just in time to call the ME to get your time of death.

You’re assuming I’m not homeless, as are millions of other Americans right now. I’m under A LOT more threat, on any given night, than any ‘housie’ and I don’t own one, and I’ve dealt with my share of whacked out ‘bad guys’ INCLUDING ‘neighborhood watch’ freak cases who think they literally OWN the sidewalks in a town I’ve lived in… raised a family in, for almost 40 years (unlike those freaks who are typically ‘career-following transients), and I survive just fine without a weapon..

But thanks for your concern for my well-being.

          • Derek

So you have lived in a town for 40 years, raised a family, and now live on the street by yourself? Sorry to hear that but it has nothing to do with our debate on gun ownership.

          • http://auntieimperial.tumblr.com/ Razer Ray

Homelessness “…has nothing to do with our debate on gun ownership.”?

            I call BS.

There are LOTS of people homeless here (California… It’s the climate… survivable in the winter). MANY have turned to hard drug abuse.

You’re saying my situation isn’t relevant to gun ownership and the supposed “Need’ to use them in self defense is utter nonsense. The people behind locked doors are safe. I’M on the street and exposed, and I SAY a gun would not make me feel one bit safer.

            Why?

Example: A year or so ago I was jumped in my sleep by 3 local teens who seemed to think I was some sort of existential threat to their childlike existence or a drunkl to beat up and I fended them off with a knife, only mildly injuring one who never turned up at a hospital…(and then they all ran off with me sporting a black eye)

IF I HAD SHOT ONE OF THEM, the rest would have run off, leaving me with a dead or dying teen on my hands AND NO FRCKING ALIBI.

            Kill all three? Same problem

I can see the headline now:

*Homeless man kills three local teens*

Last thing I want to do is spend my retirement years in prison… Somehow that DOES NOT make me feel safer… Thanks.

“Derek”… I GUARANTEE my life is A LOT scarier than yours and it was when I was a teen on the streets of New York’s Lower East Side in the 60s and 70s too, and I’d advise you to ditch the piece, if you actually even own one, and get a backbone, which you apparently DON’T have.

Thanks for your concern about my safety, and my alleged need for a gun to protect myself, but I think you and your gun-worshpping friends are simply cowards who lives behind locked doors in fear of the ‘others’ “Out There”. Even when you’re heavily armed against some skinny black kid with a deadly bag o’ skittles.

Again. Get a backbone. We’ll all be much safer for it.

          • Derek

Dude before you call me out for not having a backbone, I was in the Airborne Infantry and I jumped out of a plane for a living and i have been deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan so yes I do have a set of balls firmly attached between my legs. I own a weapon, i carry it as often i can, and i hope that i never have to use it. I would rather carry a gun every day of my life and never need it than not have it if it is needed.

          • Derek

The point is that you can never rid the world of guns, they exist and will always exist, and because of that good citizens should always be allowed to own them (and whatever kind they want) to prevent bad people from doing bad things.

          • Derek

Without his mother’s beloved Bushmaster and semi-automatic pistols, Adam Lanza would probably have been another disturbed young man mumbling to himself in the corner. With them, he became a mass murder.

            Get the difference?

          • Derek

Yes and if the school had an armed security guard there would be a lot less dead kids.

I can appreciate loyalty to an organization, being a prior service Marine. I was raised in the NRA prior to the 1977 Cincinnati Revolt. Today’s NRA is a very, different, radical, organization. Wayne LaPierre is a traitor to the values of the old NRA. It would be very easy to compare the difference.

Get a back issue of the American Rifleman from 1962 and 1964. You can see the difference in their firearms advertising policies before and after the Kennedy assassination. The NRA responded to this national tragedy in a responsible fashion.

You can also see the focus of the organization was more towards sporting use of firearms as opposed to defensive and tactical usage. This was the NRA where I learned to team shoot in the Scouts and Marine JROTC.

When I talk to NRA people one-on-one, we can usually come to a rational consensus about the need to limit something as serious as firearms ownership to responsible individuals. It’s only when the national leadership starts throwing out red-meat do they seem to oppose reasonable limits.

It’s something to think about. I don’t like to paint NRA members as wing-nuts but I do not trust the current NRA leadership to act in the best interests of this nation.

“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves”.

          • Derek

It has nothing to do with my loyalty to the NRA. It comes from the logic that if it weren’t for the NRA standing up to liberal politicians that our 2nd amendment would be repealed and only the bad guys would have guns. Thats the bottom line. The NRA has 4 or 5 Million members, you cant even get close to that number in any anti gun organization. What does that say?

      • nicklinc

None? Maybe one? Do you know how many children died last month due to morons leaving racked handguns in accessible places? More then was saved.

nicklinc sed:I’m a gun owner, and competition shooter, but the lunacy from gun-lovers makes me wish they were banned.

The lunacy you display with that sentence says all that actually needs to be said,,now doesn’t it?
Yet I will say this,,stick w/your video games and surrender your weapons immediately before you go all,,’angry gamer’ on some innocent folks somewhere.
(btw,,how about you google my name and find out what kind of writer I am before you cast juvenile aspersions out as easily as you kill those folks in your online video games)
And jsyk,,I am a convicted felon in the state of Fl so I do not own a gun.I drunkenly committed a non violent, non political crime over 30yrs ago and can’t even vote for the Prez without paying a bunch of money and kissing some politicos shiny heinie.
And yet a person like you that makes statements like ‘I’m a gun owner, and competition shooter, but the lunacy from gun-lovers makes me wish they were banned.’
and refuse to get rid of their own without admitting,,or perhaps not even seeing the cripplingly dishonest, hypocritical, selfish, elitist, facsistic, tyrannical thinking inherent in the statement are allowed to vote AND own a gun.
If you voluntarily surrender your own you will have gotten them out of the hands of someone displaying lunacy and helped fulfill your own wishes.
Do it.For the sakes of your potential future victims,,do it NOW.

What we’re seeing is lack of respect for the weapons, and for people. The racist comments I’m seeing in many places on this post sicken me, and indeed, threaten the very way of life these constitution misinterpreting gun nuts purport to venerate

          • Derek

So here you are with the name calling that we already decided should not be used here. If you want to talk constitutionality of the situation then you seem to forget what “shall not be infringed” means.

“A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.”

This means that when said militia is needed we need to be able to join that militia with our own arms that are capable of defending this free state.

Telling me that i can only use 10 round magazines, cant have “scary features” on my AR violates my right to be able to be adequately armed and able to defend this free state from tyranny, invasion, civil unrest, etc…

          • http://auntieimperial.tumblr.com/ Razer Ray

My father was in a well regulated militia.

At beginning of WWII he went down to the local armory (Prospect Park in Brooklyn) and signed up. When the militia commander had enough men, he applied to the US army-Air Force for a unit designation and my dad was on his way to basic training, and Anzio.

Your idea of a ‘well-ordered militia’ more closely resembles, in any empirical reality observed in the United States, well-ordered blackshirts

          • Wayne Patterson

The national guard is now a standing federal army. Your garbage has been argued in the supreme court several times, and lost. I am a retired career soldier. My brothers were also. as was my father. Dont spout your leftist shxt to me. There is no relation between national guard federally controlled gear and a peoples militia. But i waste my time with and axxwipe

          • http://auntieimperial.tumblr.com/ Razer Ray

You’re conflating National Guard with PRIVATE MILITIAS and you have your head stuck firmly in your right-wing ax so you can’t see simple facts..

The constitution you apparently so do dearly support (the one written for rich white land or business owning folks) has no provision whatsoever for private militias, aka “Private Armies” not answerable to the state or federal government.

California, and a number of other states STILL have militias that qualify under the constitutional description of a well-ordered militia::

            > “The militia of the State shall consist of the National Guard, State Military Reserve and the Naval Militia–which constitute the active militia–and the unorganized militia.”

All able-bodied males between 18 and 45 years old who are not members of the California Military Department are by law the unorganized militia of the state.[7] The unorganized militia are subject to call of the Governor under CA Military & Veteran’s Code § 128.[8]

Why not open carry in the halls of Congress? The Republicans want to allow guns everywhere else but hide behind the DC’s gun control laws for their own safety? Typical right wing chickenhawks.

    • BornAgain123

“Right-wing chickenhawks” Haven’t heard that one for a while. Just a thought for you, why not go to the Hillsdale College website and sign up to take their free online course on the United States Constitution. It would appear that you and many others on the left have either forgotten, ignored or are just ignorant of what that document says.

      • Harry Maker

Correct, YOU don’t have any idea of what the Constitution says.

      • Silence Dogood

Nice name. I was born right the first time. You do realize there are more amendments to the Constitution than just one don’t you? No matter how maligned that one has been, others have rights as well.

        • Wayne Patterson

And what “right” says you can nullify a right if it bothers you?

          • Silence Dogood

None, but you can’t shove your rights down my throat while choosing to ignore every other right besides some fascination with guns.

      • NepotismIsDomesticTerrorism

“…why not go to the Hillsdale College website and sign up to take their free online course on the United States Constitution.”
Simple: Hillsdale refuses to offer its free online course on the United State Constitution in Hillsdale’s original German.
        Or Mark Levin’s original Yiddish.

    • Wayne Patterson

Most repubs would welcome carry, Its your fellow cardboard marxist pals that would foul their trousers “daxxwipe”

  • Greg

Come on now. Since Republicans want guns every where then let them in the Capitol Building. They wont do that because they’re a bunch of chickenshit cowards. Republicans want guns every where but near them.

    • BornAgain123

You know, I’m a staunch defender of the Constitution and its absolute supremacy. However, when I read moronic comments like this, I have to wonder whether some people SHOULD have restricted speech rights! Twain was correct…it’s better to remain silent and thought of as foolish than to open one’s mouth and eliminate any doubt!

      • HJLester

I hear you. I do. Now please prove Greg wrong. Can you?

        • http://auntieimperial.tumblr.com/ Razer Ray

Easy. The person with the gun IS a Republican and OBVIOUSLY he had one near him

      • Peg Johnson

Sure – as long as those people that are restricted are educated enough so they can quote the right staying with the right speakers. Mark Twain was quoting another speaker – Abraham Lincoln.

    • Layla

Tell you what, let’s do away with protection for Congress, shall we? Stupid statement? YOU BET, just a stupid as yours.

    • BKThoroughbred

I totally agree. I would like any one that would refute please give solid logic. Republican law makers across the country want guns everywhere: Church, and schools and bars, so why shouldn’t everyone be allowed to carry in the Capitol Building? Especially a law maker and their staff? How is guns near everyone accept them?

    • Wayne Patterson

Well, the republican arrested had one very “near” him, so your “logic” is flawed……….love your cats stevens avatar,,,, he has a beard now pxssboy

      • Greg

        Nah, my logic is fine.

  • BigTBone

I’d give him a pass here. There’s more criminals and thieves in Congress than in Detroit. Hell, Republicans are so scary to be around, I’d wanna be armed too.

  • BornAgain123

Terrific….but meanwhile….in Obama’s Chicago….thugs continue to wreak havoc day after day, week after week and Obama and his ilk in Congress remain silent. Their solution to ending the violence??? Disarm the NON-violent. Brilliant. I’m convinced that blacks and other minorities will soon start to realize what an abject failure liberalism is and how it has held them down for decades. They will see for themselves how conservatism built this country and keeps it strong by recognizing that power belongs to the people, NOT the government.

    • manhattanmike

People like you place those guns in the their hands. If you can’t take responsibility for it…

    • Layla

Already happening. Blacks are signing up for Tea Party.

    • BKThoroughbred

Blacks will not be joining the “conservative ” movement any time soon. Blacks have been held down in this country for centuries, from Slavery to the Jim Crow era to finally seeing some change during the post Civil Rights movement.

For you to think that liberalism has held us down more than the examples I just mentioned is laughable and misguided.

I do agree with you that power does belong to the people.

      • martykayzee

Blacks held up the country during slavery. The entire economy of the South depended on them.

    Roll Call, March 28, 2007

After spending his 45th birthday in jail, Phillip Thompson,
an aide to Sen. Jim Webb (D-Va.), appeared in D.C. Superior Court on
Tuesday to plead not guilty to felony charges for carrying his boss’s
loaded handgun into a Senate office building Monday…

One senior GOP leadership aide said Tuesday that the appropriate thing for
Webb to do now would be to take some personal responsibility for
    Monday’s incident.

“The gun belonged to him, it was not the staffer’s weapon,” the
aide said. “It’s hard to understand how he can try to distance himself
from this situation because it all comes back to him. … The
responsible thing to do and to end some of these questions would simply
be to say, ‘Yes, it was my gun, it was loaded and things have not been
    handled well.’”

I’, waiting for someone in the GOP to respond similarly to this incident.

  • Jennifer Payson Keeler

    Here’s what I don’t understand ….
How could you be SO DUMB (and have said job) but in this scenario
alone … you had to be an idiot to not think that the place where you
went to work every single day, went through the same security protocols
day in and day out … You KNEW you were going to get caught … I don’t get it. And to be fair, this is for ANYONE, Dem or Repub… but I just don’t get it.

Detroit police chief gives credit to armed citizens for drop in crime | The Detroit News

    http://www.detroitnews.com/art

I do not condone what this staffer did. But the truth is sorely lacking in the comment section of this article.

    • headlight

That’s not much of an argument, is it? So the Detroit police chief credits people carrying guns rather than the efforts of his police force for a drop in crime? Why should we care about the views of someone who admits that he’s not very good at his job? Is it because he was on the cover of an NRA magazine a couple months back? Do you have any surveys of police chiefs on this question or is he the only one who believes this?

The actual studies show that presence of a gun in a home increases the chances that someone in that home will get shot. It increases the likelihood of a successful suicide attempt. And just in the last couple days there was a study that shows that “stand your ground” laws are associated with people being more willing to kill strangers with guns, but NOT a reduction in crime.

  • headlight

If you work on the Hill, you know that every time you walk into the building you’ll go through a metal detector. You know what you’ve got in your pockets and what you’ll have to put in the little bowl to run through the x-ray machine, and you should know what’s in your bag. If you don’t, you’re simply an idiot. And if you think you can bring a gun in that they won’t catch, you’re a BLITHERING idiot.

    • Jennifer Payson Keeler

Not sure where my previous comment went, but this is what I don’t understand yet. How can someone do this when they know, for a fact – they will be caught. it wasn’t a matter of if he could get away with whatever he was going to do …. its why do this when he knew he would get caught. I don’t understand it.

Both political parties have long forgotten about the more than three million unemployed families still without unemployment benefits since late last December. Over the past seven months, these families have fallen deeper and deeper into financial ruin and poverty. Both parties seem to lack the compassion to even care. While the republicans have fought tooth & nail on behalf of their constituent the Koch brothers, they continued to ignore the poor & unemployed. Congress has approved billions of dollars for the Ukraine, but lacks the moral fiber to help our own people in this country. These families are not going away, they are still in desperate need of a retro extension bill to help them recover from this economic catastrophe. Where are the “family values” which the republicans represent themselves as having?

sorry Dbag, but the bill of rights enumerates “the peoples rights” and the 2nd ends with “the right of the PEOPLE to KEEP and bear arms shall not be infringed”….Not the “militia will not be infringed” you are either a liar or a fool, either puts you in the dxuchebagcrat voter list

    • nicklinc

Will this be the next agenda item on the NRA’s quest to arm every citizen in the nation — “open carry” in the Capitol building?

    • randomworker

Yes. McConnell wants all his staffers to be on Obamacare. Well, when a citizen goes to visit his Senator or Congressman he or she should be able to visit them carrying their AR15s and hand grenades.
