Former Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.) reported his campaign committee gave $400,000 on March 27th to the Allen West Foundation. This follows the $250,000 his committee gave to the same foundation on December 28th. The committee also gave $250,000 on 12/28 to his American Legacy Guardians. Both organizations share the same post office box address in Boca Raton, Florida. The Allen West for Congress committee also reported it paid $178,397 for legal fees/recount expenses. The committee has $142,672 cash on hand as of 3/31.
