Lobbying for the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport

One the nation’s largest lobbying firms has filed its third quarter report for lobbying on behalf of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport.

This new filing caught our attention because we feared we had missed an effort to rename Reagan National Airport. But the client involved with this filing is located two miles east of Little Rock, Arkansas. It is owned by the City of Little Rock and is the largest commercial airport in Arkansas.

The lobbying firm of Patton Boggs LLP reported today it had received less than $5,000 during the third quarter from its lobbying client, the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. Patton Boggs reported it had no lobbying issue activity during the third quarter.

During the second quarter of 2013, the firm reported it was paid $30,000 for lobbying on the potential impact of the American-US Airways merger on service to Reagan National Airport. Norma Krayem and Greg Walden were the lobbyists.

I don’t think Bill or Hillary have even been back to Arkansas after they left the White House. The state has gone from Democrat to strong Republican. I can’t imagine the good people of Arkansas wanting their airport named after these two misfits.

The good people of Washington DC didn’t want their airport named after Ronald Reagan, but that didn’t stop Congress from forcing it down their throats.

And polling in Arkansas has found Hillary running ahead of all the leading Republican presidential contenders for 2016.

I loved watching all you liberals just go apoplectic when the name was changed to Reagan. Also, no national democrat will win Arkansas for a generation, no matter what polls you find.

There is a 75% chance Hillary Clinton will be the next President. That said, Little Rock renaming it’s airport now for what could be two Presidents sounds like a wise move to me. Heck, I am sure plenty of people in liberal Houston Texas are THRILLED to have “George Bush Airport” there.
