Major Donors to Obama’s Non-Profit Social Welfare Organization

Organizing for Action, the non-profit 501(c)(4) organization founded by former Obama staffers, disclosed some of the names of their donors who had contributed $4.9 million during the first quarter of 2013. The organization released the names, city, state, and amount given, of those persons and organizations that had given $250 or more. No occupation or principal place of business was provided. The organization claimed it had more than 109,000 donors, with an average contribution of $44.
The were 26 donors, who gave $5,000 or more, and accounted for more than a quarter of the funds: Naomi Aberly (TX) $10,000; Anthony P. Crabb (CA) $50,000; Laura Debonis (MA) $50,000; Erdal Durmaz (NJ) $10,000; William H. Freeman (TN) $50,000; John Goldman (CA) $125,000; Barbara Grasseschi (CA) $50,000; Robert Gray (NJ) $5,000; Sheryl A. Grove (TX) $5,500; Richard Harpootlian (SC) $10,000; Wayne Jordan (CA) $50,000; Michael Kempner (NJ) $50,000; Orin S. Kramer (NJ) $75,000; Prakazrel Michel (CA) $20,000; Nicola M. Miner (CA) $125,000; John Morgan (FL) $50,000; Philip Munger (NY) $250,000; National Education Assn. (DC) $15,466; Ryan Smith (UT) $50,875; S. Donald Sussman (ME) $50,000; Andrew Tobias (NY) $50,000; Ercument Tokat (NJ) $40,000; Mustafa Ugurlu (NJ) $7,950; Frank White Jr. (DC) $30,000; Abdulhadi Yildirim (NJ) $10,000; and Imaad Zuberi (CA) $50,000.
