Former Rep. Mark Sanford (R-SC) has reported several 48-hour contribution notices showing out-of-state investors contributing to his South Carolina Special Primary Run-off on 4/2. Paul and Laura Jost (investors, Chandler Management, FL) gave $5,200; Howard and Andrea Rich (he-President, Center for Independent Thought, PA)(she-real estate, ALG, PA) $5,200; Frank Hanna (real estate investment, Hanna Capital, GA) $1,000); Thomas Bell (investor, Mesa Capital, NY) $1,500; Peter Kiernan (investments, Kiernan Ventures, CT) $1,000); Peter Lawson-Johnston (real estate, Guggenheim Partners, CT) $1,000; John Makin (investments, Caxton Principle, CT) $1,000; among others.
