Portman Helps Out South Carolina’s Graham and Himself

Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) brought donors and business to St. Simon’s Island last month for some fun, fundraising and golf. Sen. Portman’s PAC, Promoting Our Republican Team PAC, reported it paid $25,889 for a recption deposit at The Cloister, a five-star resort at St. Simons Island, GA. Those contributing $5,000 in the last week of March were FMR LLC PAC (Fidelity Investments); General Electric Company PAC; Honeywell International PAC; International Paper PAC; National Venture Capital Assn. Venture PAC; Raytheon PAC; Realtors PAC; SAIC Inc PAC; United for Health PAC; and WellPoint Inc. PAC; among others during the quarter.
Portman’s PAC gave $10,000 each to Team Graham, Capito for West Virginia, and Collins for Senator. The PAC also gave $15,000 to the National Republican Senatorial Committee; $5,000 to Deb Fischer for U.S. Senate; $5,000 to Tim Scott for Congress (SC); among others.
