Rep. Kingston Moves $1.9 Million to Senate Race


Rep. Jack Kingston, R-Ga., reported today that he transferred $1,906,839 to his new Friends of Jack Kingston-Senate committee on May 1 and terminated his House committee. Kingston announced on May 2 that he was entering the race to fill the seat of retiring Sen. Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga.

His House campaign committee raised $845,644 in the first quarter of 2013. The report filed today indicated the House campaign raised $199,170 from April 1 to May 1. See Roll Call article on the May 3 fundraising event.
