A new Super PAC reported spending $98,000 for independent expenditure ads supporting Sen. Mark Begich, who is up for re-election in 2014.
Put Alaska First, a super PAC, reported to the Federal Election Commission on Thursday that it paid Waterfront Strategies of Washington, D.C., $98,460 on 12/5 for advocacy ads as independent expenditures supporting Sen. Mark Begich, D-Alaska. Their website states the ads highlight how Begich is trying to fix the healthcare law.
Put Alaska First is a new super PAC, whose most recent disclosure report showed no funds raised or spent as of June 30th. The treasurer is James Lottsfeldt of Anchorage, Alaska.
