Contributors are already trying to build a relationship with New Jersey Democratic Senate candidate Cory Booker by contributing to his campaign. Washington, D.C.-area donors have given more than $100,000 to the Newark mayor’s federal campaign.
D.C.-area donors include Michael Berman (Duberstein Group) $2,600; Jack Quinn (Quinn Gillespie) $500; Allen Thompson (Mehlman Vogel Castagnetti) $500; Jackie Moran Kolego (Verizon executive) $1,000; Jamie Gorelick (Wilmer Hale) $1,000; David Kendall (Williams & Connolly) $1,000; James Grant (Grant Capital Management) and Judy and Evan (Columbia, Md.) $15,200; Veni Markovski (Global Solutions and Consulting Inc.) $5200; Waldo McMillian (Capstone Counsel Group) $1,000; John Duff (Duff Ackerman & Goodrich) $5,200; Mary Ann Stein (Mariah Fund) $5,000; Antoine Van Agtmael (Garten Rothkopf) $500; Beth Dozoretz (homemaker) $2,600; Emmett Bruce Harrison (pr consultant) $500; Peggy Cafritz $500; among others.
Booker has raised $8.6 million this year through the end of June and has $4,058,489 million in cash on hand as of June 30.
