Posted at 9:17 a.m. on May 27, 2014
Welcome back from the holiday weekend. The House is in session this week, but the Senate is not. Washington still has plenty on its agenda, though:
Today, the Progressive Policy Institute hosts an event on Internet service providers and interconnection agreements.
The science fair at the White House is also today.
The New America Foundation hosts a panel discussion on Wednesday on public broadband.
Also on Wednesday, the Information Technology & Innovation Foundation holds an event on the Copyright Alert System.
On Thursday, the Committee on House Administration hosts its 2014 Legislative Data and Transparency Conference.
Also on Thursday and Friday, the FCC and Pennsylvania State University’s Institute for Information Policy sponsor a workshop on the future of broadband regulation. Research will be discussed at the by-invite workshop.
On Friday and Saturday, the Sunlight Foundation has its TransparencyCamp on technology, policy and open government.
Also, the House takes up a fiscal 2015 Commerce-Justice-Science appropriations bill later this week.
