Harry Reid Isn’t Going Anywhere Anytime Soon (Updated)

(Bill Clark/CQ Roll Call)

(Bill Clark/CQ Roll Call)

If Republicans and potential Democratic rivals want Harry Reid’s majority leader title, they’re going to have to knock him out of the ring, because the former boxer has no intent to relinquish his position anytime soon.

“I don’t want to do it more than eight more years,” the Nevada Democrat said in a Wednesday interview with CQ Roll Call. He even indicated that other Democrats would only get their chance to lead the caucus if they pried the title from his cold, dead hands.

Asked if Democratic Conference Secretary Patty Murray’s recent stints as Reid’s negotiator-in-chief and political guru put the Washingtonian in a position to become leader, Reid quipped, “If I drop dead? I don’t know.”

He added, “I mean, I will someday. It’s just a question of if I do it while I’m here.”

Reid is up for re-election in 2016, and he reiterated Wednesday that he intends to run. If he and his Democrats are able to hold onto power for the next eight years, Reid would be the leader for 16 years, matching the record set by the legendary Montana Democrat Mike Mansfield.

But Reid dismissed the idea that he is looking to the Mansfield record as a marker. Reid celebrated his 74th birthday earlier this month, meaning he would be into his 80s by the time his next term would end at the beginning of 2023.

But the Nevada Democrat, who has seen his fair share of tough election battles back home, seems to have plenty of fight left in him — for the political, policy and procedural dust-ups that are sure to come.

For example, Reid said he is prepared to take actions that might further erode the minority’s ability to filibuster. He would not rule out using the “nuclear option” again to change Senate rules and precedents. Just last month, Reid used the controversial procedural tactic to eliminate filibusters on most nominations.

However, he cautioned that he is not threatening to make any new changes in the immediate future.

“I hope we don’t, and I hope it’s not necessary,” Reid said, noting the increase in the number of filibusters over the past several decades. “I’m not precluding anything. It’s just according to how we get along here.”

He added, “I have no intention of changing the rules tomorrow or the next day or, you know, [in] the foreseeable future, but this is a two-way street. I think that we should start legislating and not [waste] all of our time on nominations. That’s all I’ve been wasting my time on for years here is nominations.”

But he did say that he is not willing to reverse the November filibuster rule changes, despite a robust procedural protest from the GOP side over his move to limit debate on nominees with a simple majority vote.

“I mean, having us vote to go in-and-out from executive to legislative session? To hold up just simple nominations for 30 hours?” Reid said of the tactical maneuvering that led to two all-night sessions in the Senate last week, with another such session possible Thursday into Friday.

“I just can’t understand how they think it passes the smell test and have us wait as we have for everybody. That isn’t the way we used to do things around here, and we can talk about who started it. It really doesn’t matter,” Reid said.

The interview came soon after the top two Republicans in the Senate again decried Reid’s use of the procedural tactic known as filling the amendment tree, which this week precluded senators from offering any amendments to either the budget deal passed Wednesday or the defense authorization that’s on track to pass by late Thursday evening.

Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and Minority Whip John Cornyn of Texas offered separate rebukes about the amendment process. While Cornyn complained about not being able to offer an amendment related to the shooting at Fort Hood, McConnell warned of what’s to come in the future.

“I’d remind my colleagues on the other side that one day they’ll find themselves in the minority again. And they should think long and hard about what they’re doing to this institution. Because the Senate is bigger than any one party or presidential administration,” McConnell said.

Reid offered an alternate explanation: He’s burning too much floor time on nominations to allow a more traditional, robust amendment process.

“They complain about no amendments? We can’t have amendments,” Reid said. “We don’t have people running these agencies.”

Reid also is in no mood to negotiate with Republicans over the debt ceiling deadline looming in February or March. McConnell said Tuesday that he “can’t imagine” that Republicans would agree to a clean debt limit increase, but Reid flatly rejected any more concessions on budget issues.

“You know what I say to them? If they feel like that, let them default on the debt, because this is not a negotiation. That’s the least we can do is pay our bills,” Reid said.

Reid also indicated that concessions on the debt ceiling could undermine the budget deal passed by the Senate Wednesday evening.

“I think that this is such a strong statement that the Congress has made that we can work together and why, why botch it up now with a[n] … illogical, tea-party-driven mentality now on let’s default on the debt?”

As for the immediate prospects of holding the majority in next year’s elections, Reid maintained his optimism Wednesday. He reiterated his insistence that the negative narrative the White House has been fighting over the Obamacare rollout and other issues is changing.

“We’re always very honed-in on the races. We feel pretty good about how things are going,” Reid said.

There is not a person in congress, the executive, Joint Chiefs, leadership of the CIA, FBI etc who do not know that obama a foreign agent. The fake birth certificate is the flashing red light that his entire life is a lie. For you mindless liberals who want to ridicule that assertion- tell me the hospital name was in existence in 1961, the computer font was duplicated by an impact typewriter before its invention, that “African” is a valid description of race… etc. Point is the elected leadership of our country lacks the honor, integrity, and courage to carry out the responsibilities of their oath of office. They are all dspicable.

Thanks to the vulgar stupidity of intellectuals, I’ll always be an idiot but tow would you feel about a 10 private sector voters have sponsor one and only one local, state, or federal employee amendment?

Second place is the first place loser but a peek is worth ten free market estimators. Reverse auction bid results can be turned into a low bid equation with a variance that looks something like this:

Low Bid = (95% – 1% times the number of bidders) times the average bid

Companies play free market basketball on a diving board because a company can’t maximize their profits if the company hits more often than the dummy. A 5% drop in price is usually enough to jump to 15% higher overall hit rate. Government is a slam dunking monopoly that has proven to be 20% more expense than the free market. Socialism, Fascism, Marxism, Statism, etc. is four scarcity leaps backwards and corresponds with Carman’s and Kenneth’s findings.

A Harvard Professor and previous President of IMF wrote a book called “This Time is Different” . Carman Reinhart and Kenneth Rogoff studied fiscal crisis in 65 countries over 500 years. 1% GDP reduction in taxes increases private sector 3% in GDP. 1% GDP increase in Government Spending deceases private sector 1.2% GDP with a -0.2% change in GDP. Obviously a great deal of government debt can put a country at significant interest rate risk.

If we go from a 38% tax rate to 20% tax rate with a balanced budget the private sector will grow from $11 Trillion to over $16 Trillion. Tax revenue won’t decrease 48%. Tax revenue will only decrease 24%. Half of Washington won’t have to go on a permanent vacation, only one out of four. Employment will increase 25% so displaced bureaucrats will have lots of new opportunities to contribute to society.

If we get down to a balanced 10%, $20 Trillion – more than a 60% increase in jobs if half of Washington goes on a permanent vacation, each dollar earned buys ($0.90/$0.62) 45% more, and hard America becomes a soft warm place.

John Nash’s beautiful mind recognized the importance of interactions in which the results of one person’s choices depend not only on his own behavior but also on the choices of another person. There is a related game called Ultimatum. You and your partner split $10. Less than $3 deals disgust and anger. The dealer has a pulpit.

The Laffer effect is no joke. Charles Adams, an international tax attorney and historian, wrote books on taxes. Once tax rates rise above the disgust and anger point, the expected extra tax revenue never shows up. A flat tax system is part of Constitution. Everyone has to pay taxes to keep as many people’s tax rate below the disgust and anger tax rate or make sure an overwhelming majority is disgusted with high taxes.

Carman, Kenneth, John, and yours truly believes dealers can routinely get an $8 to $10 deal by getting his or her partner work for a $3 to $5 deal. With each $3 to $5 of earned success the partner becomes a dealer that turns the $3 to $5 deal into $6 to $8 of earned success. Turning $10 into $13 is a win-win systemic solution that creates good people, great outcomes, and durable trust but when it rains, rainmakers show up and turn everything to dirt.

There will always be zero-sum losers who just accept less than $3 deals and think the key to success is being an abusive dealer. A $7-$3 deal isn’t better than a $6-$4 deal because $7-$3 deals turn into $6-$2, $5-$1, and $4-two bit deals. Rainmakers turn everything to dirt because they feel entitled to $7up and someone else has to pay for the diet $7up.

Obama and company’s overall 30% to 40% tax and spend policies have systemically increased the public sector by 25% and eliminated 10 million private sector jobs. For the first 150 years of our existence, we were 10% tax and spend country. Present day Switzerland, Russia, and much of Eastern Europe are 15% tax and spend countries.

I can’t taste the difference between Wilson and Barack vegetable oil. The Federal Reserve was created on Jekyll Island and Obama is the Prince of Hyde Park. A famous Central Banker said something like “If I control the money supply, I care not for your laws”. If debt is money that can only be paid off with more money …. someone ends up owning everything and everybody.

Our founding fathers promoted the species (Gold and Silver) because a stable money supply is key to creating an innovative middle class and responsive Government. When things are set up right, the wealth disparity between rich and poor is only four fold and a society’s standard of living doubles every decade but there is a great deal of guess work involved. Government being around 45% of GDP appears to be the little or no innovation setpoint.

With some modifications, Bitcoins can indirectly tax on transaction size (good), proactively tariff (good), turn the down and out into limited central banks (good) and tax on population density (good) and be like an invading army. Bitcoins, that don’t vary in quantity could be the beginning of a wonderful bottom up Milton Friedman world that leaves the elites on top without any change.

The 10% public sector corresponds to a bottom 20% to top 20% ideal distribution is around $3.50,$4.50,$6.25,$8.25, and $11.25.

We went off the gold standard 40 years ago. Over that period the average overall tax rate was about 30%. Over the last 40 years relative wealth distribution went from ($2.75,$4.00,$5.25,$7.00,$9.25) to ($1.25,$2.00,$2.75,$3.50, & $18.50). 30% to 40% Obama has taken us to ($1.00,$1.75,$2.50, $3.25, and $16.75). If the dollar is no longer the world currency, ($0.75,$1.31,$1.87,$2.41,$12.19). The above mentioned Bitcoin arrangement would lessen the wealth disparity.

Couple that with education from pre-school through college being dominated by liberals who hate America and we are surely doomed as a nation.

Obama was promoted by monied people working behind the scenes. Remember Michelle stating Barack’s book sale receipts was Mana from Heaven. There is also Michelle’s sudden promotion into a position at a Chicago hospital paying $250K annually, and a real-estate deal where a political pal fronted the Obama’s land worth tens of thousands. Just these three things pushed Barack Obama’s net worth well above a million. After through political insider information as State and Federal Senator Obama was able to take advantage of the system more than doubling his holdings before becoming President.

Now Obama is invested in funds that have returned double digits, but are slowing of late. These are above board, and largely centered in the oil transport business. This has been going on for long as he has been President. This had taken his net worth from about $3 million to five at this time. (Rule of 72). There is no mystery here, but most of us would not have received this leg up by backers at the start.

Michelle was going to divorce Barack about ten years before he became President, evidently citing lack of motivation, and low income amongst other reasons. Once Barack began to ascend the political ladder, seed money was provided by backers through various means to bolster the image of a smart savvy person and he was off to the races. Check out N.J. Senator Booker who has benefitted from the same process.

When Wall Street power brokers such as USB Bank’s Robert Wolf have Obama’s ear, you know something is up. Don’t be fooled. These guys are up to their elbows in Wall Street, divvying up tax payer money for golden parachutes. Don’t tell me insider info doesn’t flow the other way. Crony capitalism begets crony politics.

Harry is the biggest Liar and Thief in the Senate. His year-round home is a $200,000 a year suite at the Ritz Carleton in DC. Regardless of his little act with Frank Rosenthal when Harry was Chairman of Nevada Gaming Commission, Harry is still wired into the Mafia. I worked for a very large bank in SW back in the 60’s to 80’s that was a “Mafia Influenced” bank and picked up a lot of info. My Father who knew many people in Las Vegas back in the day always said the “Harry is as crooked as a dogs hind leg.”. That nails Harry very well!

Congress members are legally allowed to engage in insider trading. To do so as a non-member of congress would get one a quick trip to prison. Therefore, congress members who are not rich are either stupid, or ethical. Maybe Mr. Reid’s wife is a really good saver from clipping supermarket coupons.

Gino, Hairy became rich just like so many others in congress. He made it the old fashion way; he stole it! Most of the new congressmen come to Washington with the only suit they own and a briefcase. They fight like hell to keep their seats for a couple of terms and then leave Washington as multi-millionaires. Legislation is peddled to ‘lobbyists’ with the most money. The American People are very-very junior partners of the ‘lobbyists’, and unfortunately many of us are just starting to understand what goes on at the “Disneyland on the Potomac.”

America is palliative……I’ll vote for Ted Cruz or Mike Lee or maybe Rand Paul, I don’t know if Paul is conservative enough for me yet……..anybody else will be the same ole crap with the same ole people. DC needs a transplant! They have no heart for America, they are narcissists and only in politics for themselves and what they can “get” out of it. We need to make lobbyists “illegal” and we need to come up with a law that if you are found guilty in violation of any ethics or any law, you lose all your benefits…pensions, healthcare, everything provided to you via taxpayers. And one more thing, if you start out as a city council member and get a pension from that and then go onto another job with a pension, you lose the pension you had before, and will keep the pension you have now…so that you only get one taxpayer funded pension…not 3 or 4….

Birds of a feather flock together. The candidate identifies, agrees with, and works to implement the values of his party. Democrats always support the democrat agenda. Republicans often compromise the party’s platform. Choose which party platform you agree with and support that party’s candidates. You are more than naive if you think you can vote the person.

I am to. Nothing will change because the dumb butt Americans will keep voting for the lies, because they love being lied to. This and this alone says a lot about the people of this country. When Bush told one of the biggest lies about 9/11 and Iraq and the people fell for this hook line and sinker. I knew he lied because any president would seal the boarders, but no his rear didn’t. He left them wide open. Now we have people pouring over the boarder from all over! All he wanted was to get the patriot act in place because he knew the stock market was going to burst because they gave people loans that should not gotten them, and then giving tarp money to corporations and 60 percent went overseas right along with the jobs!. Then you have this Marxist in office and we are losing most of our rights. Look at how many still approve of him! Just can’t understand these stupid people. It’s time to come up with some law that you only make a salary and no pensions, no benefits and that will keep a turnover rate…no lobby jobs after serving as a congressional member or if you served as a lobbyist (like Chris Christi–he was a Bernie Madoff lobbyist), you can’t be a member of congress……lobbyists should be outlawed anyway…they are crooks greasing and bribing our congress..that would solve a lot of problems.

klg- We talk about this situation a lot- we all know the system is evil and encourages/promotes corruption. But I don’t see a solution short of the1776 remedy. Over the years, accelerated by Clinton, Bush and obama, administrations have set up the machinery for martial law by executive order (imperial decree). See http://www.whiteoutpress.com/articles/q42013/obama-administration-issues-martial-law-directive/

Congress has not held the executive accountable for legislating a supra constitutional organization and procedures to overthrow our constitutional government. Therefore they are complicit and supporters of those who would turn our country into their paradise of the new world order. I do not expect to see any turnaround in the downward death spiral of our republic and the wellbeing of its patriots, as long as those who could make a difference persist in their lethargy.

Judy Wallman, a professional genealogy researcher in southern California, was doing some personal work on her own family tree. She discovered that Congressman Harry Reid’s great-great uncle, Remus Reid, was hanged for horse stealing and train robbery in Montana in 1889. Both Judy and Harry Reid share this common ancestor.

The only known photograph of Remus shows him standing on the gallows in Montana territory: On the back of the picture Judy obtained during her research is this inscription: ‘Remus Reid, horse thief, sent to Montana Territorial Prison 1885, escaped 1887, robbed the Montana Flyer six times. Caught by Pinkerton detectives, convicted, and hanged in 1889.’

So Judy recently e-mailed Congressman Harry Reid for information about their great-great uncle.

Believe it or not, Harry Reid’s staff sent back the following biographical sketch for her genealogy research:

“Remus Reid was a famous cowboy in the Montana Territory. His business empire grew to include acquisition of valuable equestrian assets and intimate dealings with the Montana railroad. Beginning in 1883, he devoted several years of his life to government service, finally taking leave to resume his dealings with the railroad. In 1887, he was a key player in a vital investigation run by the renowned Pinkerton Detective Agency. In 1889, Remus passed away during an important civic function held in his honor when the platform upon which he was standing collapsed.”

I for one, have had quite enough of Harry Reid and Democratic party votes. We need input from all sides of the equations to make judicious decisions, not just one sided dictatorship like we have now. Look where they’ve taken us! The Middle class is poorer, the poor are poorer, and the Dem’s who claim to be for the Poor and middle class have created this mess. Not the Republicans! I believe the Republicans will take better care of the poor and middle class. There are more Multi millionaires in the democratic party, and they raise more money than the R’s. Everything they claim to be is just the opposite. We need honest points of views debated, not negotiated! “Negotiated” deals are at best 50% of what Americans deserve, I believe we deserve better. The “CHANGE” I want is in representation, not Obama B.S. dictatorship.

Everyone stereotypes because it serves an useful purpose. The facts are usually Conservative. Progress is usually pragmatic. The truth is usually stranger than fiction thanks to all the plausible lies.

Sir Robin Hood stole from the rich and gave to the poor. Sir Robin was the tax collecting Baron of Exchequer. The black and white plague came. The lost sheep didn’t know what to do. Herman Cain and able Robin challenged the Sheriff of Nottingham to a duel. There is a new Sheriff in town.

Cain and able Robin spread their flat tax and limited government seed everywhere. Robin Hood died in 1476. All of Robin Hood’s descendants and converts are filled with the timeless 1776 spirit.

The pope will never replace Jesus Christ with Adam Smith but King James wrote the bible. When you compare the world before and after in terms of peace, love, and understanding, King James, Adam Smith, and David Hume totally kicked butt.

King James was the King of Scotland before he wrote the bible. When King James, Adam Smith, and David Hume were young Scotsmen, they spoke gaelic, wore their kilts at their knees, and played with their bag pipes just like everyone else. The English were so feed up with the Hatfields and McCoys, the English shipped the Whigas off to Appalachia. Adam, James, and David pulled up their kilts, learned to speak English, and changed the world.

Our national anthem is based on a drinking song the English use to sing about hating the Scots. We are the Scottish Enlightenment Shining City on the Hill and our founding fathers were radical hip hop dudes. Jerry Curls went out of style in 1780s just like they did in 1980s.

If half the players are in the stands cheering on a back door Santa, King James will move to Miami, move overseas, or sit in the stands. Radical referees always go left, think the best defense is an infuriating offense, and promote their failures. Obama is a missed layup and we have to beg him to fix the pot hole – oops another miss.

Ronald Reagan wasn’t a lifeguard. President Reagan was a life saver for opening the big pool for business. When the rich man goes off the end of innovation diving board, he or she swims to the side of the pool and gets back in line. Reagan also cut taxes along the virgin mother of economics.

During the Elizabethan age, Queen Elizabeth took England from an indebted backwater to the dominate world power. King Phillip and Sir John Keynes did not bust her Friedrich Hayek and capitalist pirates. Her cast iron booty was pure silver and gold that’s why our founding fathers promoted the species in the Constitution but what Queen Elizabeth and her public corporations were all about has been forgotten.

Queen Elizabeth wanted everyone to love her and loved to give. Her despotic suitors and predecessor weren’t smart enough to realize they had to take in order to give. Taxpaying parishioners love to give after they have plenty of earned success making other people happy. The English loved her and still love her to this day.

Queen Elizabeth’s public corporations were a means to put a bloated bureaucracy through a Church of England basket strainer. If the taxpaying parishioners thought a project or bureaucracy was of no use then no money went into the collection basket.

By separating what government needed to do and what everyone wanted done, she was able to lower the base flat tax rate. The virgin mother of economics made it very clear that her capitalist pirates had to walk the free market plank. There is a right and wrong way for fat cats, politicians, and bureaucrats to get some loving. The fat cats, at the end of the diving board, made everyone love them by putting more money in the collection basket. With the belly flop junk out of the system, the government pumps ran smoothly and the control valves worked.

Everyone knows Sarah Palin is the virgin mother!

The decline began in the 1960’s when LB Johnson caused Congress to enact his War on Success (a/k/a his Great Society) when he and Congress created the Welfare state) .. and in 1979 Jimmy Carter made it worse when he signed the Community Reinvestment Act … thereby laying the groundwork for the real estate/mortgage financing bubble that finally exploded in 2008 thanks to the irrational exuberance fostered by misuse of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac’s government ‘guarantees’.

Why in the wide wide world of sports do liberals keep on trying to get everyone to dance around like a bunch of Kansas City Mullahs? Nowadays all the Opie Cuttinghams have color TVs to watch the Rodeo. The other day the liberal media facially and odiously profiled Duck’s Willie. They thought he was Karl Marx.

Karl Marx was fat, lazy, and stinky bum who managed to do an unbelievable amount of harm with his extremely faulty intelligence machine. On page 64 of the Communist Manifesto Marx and Engels outlined everything.

Welcome to Hotel Obama,Reid, and Boehner. No free speech and you can only travel via the Hotel shuttle. Please invite all your rich friends. All property is taken from the emigrants and anyone who complains about the service. We pay with counterfeit dollars and extra tax people who work harder to have more counterfeit dollars. If any of the other guests like your dress or suit, we all share at Hotel Obama. Next week, we are going up to your lake property but you can’t go until you are part of the collective. You are no longer the President of your company and all the machines are ours. Tomorrow morning your chain gang is farming and next week you will be doing factory work. The dupes check-in but they can never leave.

The Federal Reserve and IRS are private and foreign Corporations. There is a difference between the United States and the United States of America. One is a corporation. Thanks to tax and spend democrats we were all born at sea in our mother’s womb because that way we are slaves. The global warming and cooling, etc. began after we went off the gold standard because our masters wanted our land. Private central bankers also created communism. Socialized medicine is a means to get rid of the old. God save the Queen and the Black Nobility – they are evil and the dirty rotten democrats made all the deals with the devil.

Karl Marx was a religious guy until Darwin throw him for a loop. The Darwins, Platos, Hobbs, and Leviathans mated themselves out of existence.

Words are so important that I would love to have an Orwellian nightmare find the right ones. Einstein said people are infinitely dumber than the universe. We won a cold war without understanding how Communists fundamentally transform countries. The audacity of hope and change is exploiting our incredible stupidity.

Marxism has never worked. Socialism requires “new” men and women who do not distinguish between earned and unearned success. After World War I, the Marxists were surprised that the workers do not unite and create heaven on earth.

The crazy Marxists decided civil societies were the problem. The solution was destroying the civil society before finding out nothing grows in a pile of dirt if you do not reward earned success. Since Marxism does not work, the Marxist has to replace religion with worship of the state and kill people to create heaven on earth. Words, names, and slogans are very important to the Marxist who wants the Marat media to worship a Robespierre in order to get a bunch of leeches to suck off Napoleon’s hemorrhoids. Mark’s legion is the ruthless mob of useful idiots. When the civil society is a pile of dirt, normalization begins.

If you show the guilty mercy, you punish the innocent after the fundamental transformation. Every systemic problem creates a constituency that the communist wants to expand to punish and demoralize the innocent while doing nothing about the guilty during the civil society destroying 10, 20, or 30 year period. The best defense is an infuriating offense. Frankfurt critical theory is simple. Criticize, criticize, and criticize your problem solving opposition with your intentionally created problems that you have no solutions for while preventing the opposition from solving the problem – pure madness.

Orwellian nightmares come up with politically correct wonderful names for awful things and awful names for good things. Lies are told again, again, and again by people who have no clue. Political correctness is important so the trouble makers can vilify without return fire. Orwellian nightmares put crazy narcissistic control freaks in charge of bureaucracies whenever possible then betray and condemn the useful idiots when the transformation is complete and the police state begins.

Cynicism is a double edged sword. On one hand it protects people from crushing disappointment. On the other hand it paralysis people from saying or doing anything constructive. Saul Alinsky wrote Rules for Radicals to honor the devil because the devil got his own kingdom. The communist super genius is a truly evil person. Karl Marx thought Big Government was a bad idea and Stalin killed Trotsky because he agreed. There is a 1963 book called the Naked Communist that outlined destroying our civil society.

Part of the Cultural Marxism game plan is to call Truthers nuts. Everything Obama and company says is a lie.

Hey, it could be worse, imagine if you were a twenty something US citizen? These folks are screwed, democrat, republican or non-affiliated.

Forced to buy Obamacare on one side, non-dischargeable student loan debt prison on the other and illegal alien invasion up your a**.

    Entrepreneurial aspirations? Good luck…

The federal regulatory army and IRS (now with their own SWAT teams) will punish fee and tax you and your perspective customer at every step. Even musicians, their instruments and hoped employer must now meet DHS and EPA new laws first, ever stricter compliance, government filings and harsh penalties (think that restaurant will still offer live music?). You kids can thank Cass Sunstein and Janet Napolitano along with Obama.

So students are learning about our bad founding fathers, sex toys, deviation, global warming lies, Saul Alinsky, math is consensus, and Muslim tolerance?

No time for personal finance or the Federalist Papers? Of course not, the globalists forbid such information, it would expose the whole thing and that would lead to student riots.

At what point will US citizen students get it? Student loan debt, forced to fund Obamacare, growing regulatory oppression, punishing taxation and illegal aliens deluge for a better life (not yours, but you still must pay for it).

What Obama and RINOs are doing to our youth is an outrage

The subversion of ‘students’ for the continuity of university professor’s and administrator’s obscene salaries, opulent 6 figure pensions and benefits. Now forcing them to fund Obamacare that really funds exempt congressional healthcare, exempt unions, exempt illegal invaders and their other benefits and empowers the IRS, DHS, HHS and the federal government’s growing central control.

And what’s left of jobs are being handed to illegal invaders, but you will be taxed to fund their benefits.

It’s interesting how American youth can organize, rally, get national MSM coverage overnight over something like the KONY scam but not a peep over their own devastating financial subversion and forced serfdom.

Every young American citizen should drop Zuckerberg’s Facebook, they are getting hurt the most by his spending millions to push corporate lobbied ‘immigration.

Companies won’t have to pay for Obamacare if they hire illegal invaders.

Which means US citizens will be taxed to make up the difference.

That’s why traitorous corporate CEO’s are lobbying for ‘illegal invasion':

Google: Obamacare Loophole provides Incentive for Employers to Hire Illegal Aliens Over US Citizens

Now you know why ZuckerFacebook is spending millions pushing this.

To get ‘you’ fired and an illegal invader hired (to get exempt from paying for Obamacare).

The biggest tragedy of all is what the Obama administration and RINOs are doing to our American youth.

Instead of giving our next generation of US citizens every advantage, aide and encouragement they are starting off worst than broke (hopelessly wracked with debt), dumbed down education, job opportunities are slashed, even any entrepreneurial aspirations are smothered at the very start from government over regulation and taxes. And let’s not forget the millions of illegal invaders taking what’s left of jobs and diverting tax money for their benefits.

    Si, se puede? NADA

Until WE take back our government, and vote out or kick out the lobbyist establishment corporatist politicians. THEN and only then, can we start coming up with CURES instead of treatments.

The GOP should have a natural lock on the Senate since the Senate represents the states. They should stop wasting money and funding races in Dem strongholds like CA, NY and NJ and instead concentrate on states with small populations like the prairie states which should be all GOP.

They should also stop giving fake conservative Dems like Manchin cover. He votes the Dem party line when needed. His seat is a natural GOP seat and when he runs the GOP should make clear that a vote for Manchin is a vote for Reid.

If the GOP followed that strategy the Dems would not have a chance at controlling the Senate for decades since Dem votes are concentrated in a minority of states. You’d think the GOP strategists would have figured that out by now – but perhaps they want to run big but inevitably LOSING campaigns in Dem states because they make more money that way.

If the dollar is no longer the world currency, ($0.75,$1.31,$1.87,$2.41,$12.19).

Time for term limits PERIOD! We in CA are going to push Jerry Brown to force corrupt Clinton out of the presidential race. We have seen enough out of the Clintons, Bushes, and the Obamas. TIME FOR REAL CHANGE. Overturn Citizens United. Time to throw the real criminals out meaning our corrupt government as well as Supreme Joke of a court that prefers to let the ILLEGAL FISA court rule the roost while they sleep and chomp on nasty cigars. Today, Capitol Police responded to the scene of the residence of Traitor Harry Reid. The lead investigator examined the body of a deceased male, believed to be Disgraced Senator Harry Reid, noticing about a dozen bullet holes in his abdomen and head, declaring it the worst case of suicide he has ever seen.

Even if you’re a liberal, how could you be proud of Harry Reid? Procedurally, he has destroyed the Senate. True, he’s mostly following Obama’s marching orders, but for all of the claims that the Republicans and House are “obstructing”, it’s Reid who refuses to produce budgets. It’s Reid who refuses to even allow amendments from Republicans to various bills. Nice statesmanship, Harry.

Finally, I already have my popcorn bags ready to throw in the microwave for that day when the Republicans control the Senate and walk all over the Filibuster Rule to force their agenda items through. Should be quite a show.

As long as the American electorate keeps working at the level of bumper sticker thinking and bumper-sticker politics (e. g., big government vs, big business vs. big labor), he and his co-conspirators have a good chance of finishing off the U.S. as a world leader, a desirable place to live, and a model for the rest of the world. The current Democrat party, Republican party, and their special interest sponsors aren’t the solution to our problems, they are the cause of our problems insofar as the U.S. remaining a viable nation state.

The fact that the President and the Democratic Party lied to the entire electorate (60 hours of video) with such ease, redundantly, with the President communicating this lie directly from the Oval Office? And you’re feeling pretty good? You’re as crazy as the Pugs say you are.

Don’t gloat Pugs, your Establishment couldn’t fight its way out of a wet paper towel yet being genuinely stupid is not a flaw in character, values or integrity nor is it against the law to be this level of dumb however, lying to America is a whole different matter in and of itself. Especially with that lie coming from our President which has now been categorized by the MSM as the biggest lie of 2013, among many others, and in the Independents electorates strong opinion Harry, this will not be politically survivable which I think you know. If not talk to Barbara Walters. Good luck Mr. Reid, you and your are gonna need it……..

Harry Reid is in Nevada. Nevada is suffering some of the greatest unemployment thanks to Obama.

Obamacare is also taking a severe toll on those in Nevada. With how bad it is going to be by election time Harry will be more vulnerable than he ever has been. The Delays done by Obama will actually hurt Reid more than if the poison pill was swallowed now.

With Obama preventing national lands from being drilled for oil he is stifling job growth in Nevada and the Republicans sense a chance to unseat Harry Reid that is so strong they are considering placing the Republican National Convention in Nevada. Needless to say this does not help Harry at all to mobilize the Republicans in the State and get them fired up.

It gets better for us as Nevada will actually scorn the end of the Filibuster when ads come out showing Harry was so wanting to keep the Filibuster under Bush only to end it when Obama needed it ended.

Harry Reid is in my view very vulnerable and the only thing is to find a worthy candidate who can drop the axe on Harry’s career path. I know that funding might not be an issue if the Republican is able to get a certain gambling magnates assistance as well.

The latest Gallup poll shows that 92% of Republicans, 71% of Independents, and 56% of Democrats believe big government is the greatest threat to America….and they are right.
In 2013 Local, State and the Federal governments will confiscate and spend $6.2 Trillion dollars of private sector gross domestic product, or 40% of the country’s wealth. Of that, $3.8 trillion will be spent on Entitlement and Welfare program.

Folks, the casinos contribute mightily to his campaigns, so simply find another gaming establishment to visit across the country. Pittsburgh’s casino is near a football stadium and the Pirate’s ballpark which has been called one of nicest paks in the country, both stadiums are in walking distance of the casino. The Meadows casino is only 25 minutes away down the interstate and has harness racing. Atlantic City has an ocean. There’s no reason to visit Nevada, what, you want to go see Wayne Newton who’s been singing Danka Shane for the past 50 years?

If the American people open their eyes and ears and realize that every Democrat senator voted for this legislative redistribution scheme called Obamacare, they will vote every single one them out. Then Harry Reid can go home to Nevada, pick out a taxpayer paid rocking chair that he probably earmarked for himself and contemplate his wretched career.

Let’s see how he likes it when he is the minority leader in 12 months. LA, AR, NC, WV, MT, AK will most likely flip and now MI, MN, NH, and IA are now in play and that wasn’t the case three months ago.

If the GOP picks up those 6 red state senate seats Reid is minority leader. If they pick up 2+ of the others, then there will be a challenge to his leadership.

Just like if the House loses more seats to the GOP, there will be a few dems who start to challenge Pelosi. She ran the party off the cliff in 2010 and she wants to continue to lead them thru the fall and to the impact. She doesn’t care… she is in the safest seat in the country but I guarantee there are a bunch of dems who lost their seats in 2010 who wish they had stood up to her back then.

In Nevada, the Name to Know is Reid

    THE SENATORS’ SONS

Members of one lawmaker’s family represent nearly every major industry in their home state. And their clients rely on his goodwill.

June 23, 2003|Chuck Neubauer and Richard T. Cooper | Times Staff Writers

WASHINGTON — It was the kind of legislation that slips under the radar here.

Thename alone made the eyes glaze over: “The Clark County Conservation of
Public Land and Natural Resources Act of 2002.” In a welter of technical
jargon, it dealt with boundary shifts, land trades and other arcane
    matters — all in Nevada.

Lobbyists — A graphic accompanying an article in Monday’s Section A on
Nevada Sen. Harry Reid’s lobbyist relatives incorrectly said that the
University of Nevada at Reno paid $10,000 a month to the Lionel Sawyer
& Collins law firm. In fact, the university paid the firm $40,000 in
the last half of 2002, according to federal lobbyist reports.

As he introduced it, Nevada’s senior U.S. senator, Democrat Harry Reid,
assured colleagues that his bill was a bipartisan measure to protect the
environment and help the economy in America’s fastest-growing state.

What Reid did not explain was that the bill promised a cavalcade of benefits
to real estate developers, corporations and local institutions that
were paying hundreds of thousands of dollars in lobbying fees to his
sons’ and son-in-law’s firms, federal lobbyist reports show.

The Howard Hughes Corp. alone paid $300,000 to the tiny Washington
consulting firm of son-in-law Steven Barringer to push a provision
allowing the company to acquire 998 acres of federal land ripe for
development in the exploding Las Vegas metropolitan area.

Barringer is listed in federal lobbyist reports as one of Hughes’ representatives
on the measure that his father-in-law introduced.

Other provisions were intended to benefit a real estate development headed by a senior partner in the Nevada law firm that employs all four of Reid’s
sons — by moving the right-of-way for a federal power-transmission line
off his property and onto what had been protected federal wilderness.

The governments of three of Nevada’s biggest cities — Las Vegas, North Las
Vegas and Henderson — also gained from the legislation, which freed up
tens of thousands of acres of federal land for development and
annexation. All three were represented by Reid’s family members who
contacted his staff on their clients’ behalf.

The Clark County land bill, which was approved in a late-night session just before Congress recessed in October, reflects a new twist in an old game: These days, when corporations and other interests want to cement a vital
relationship with someone in Congress, they’re likely to reach out to
hire a member of the family.
