Obama Plans to Deport Flood of Immigrant Children

President Barack Obama plans to deport the child migrants flooding across the border without their parents.

Obama called Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto Thursday to try and stem the flow of these children entering the United States illegally, according to a White House readout.

Obama and Nieto discussed working together to return the children to their families safely, and Obama reiterated the children would not be eligible for his program to defer deportations of many young illegal immigrants brought here as children. Nor would they be eligible to stay in the United States under Obama’s proposed immigration overhaul, should legislation ever pass Congress. But the White House has been vague on how it will manage to deport the children.

According to the readout, Obama spoke with Nieto about improving Central American countries’ capacity to handle the children coming back.

Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr. will attend a regional meeting in Guatemala Friday to discuss the issue.

Obama “welcomed the opportunity to work in close cooperation with Mexico to develop concrete proposals to address the root causes of unlawful migration from Central America,” the readout said. “He also discussed the United States and Mexico’s shared responsibility for promoting security in both countries and in the region.”

“The President also noted that these unaccompanied children are vulnerable to crime and abuse, and welcomed Mexico’s efforts to help target the criminals that lure families to send children on the dangerous journey and to alert potential migrants to the perils of the journey and the likelihood that they will be returned to Central America,” the White House said.

A combination of factors has caused the number of child migrants to skyrocket this year, turning border facilities into day care centers and military barracks into youth dorms.

Alone, Illegal and Underage: The Child Migrant Crisis

Knowing all we do about Obama’s tactics; this is simply lying.

We are looking at a failed presidency here, failing badly. Our borders are wide open to any and all threats as we have all been watching. I can’t think of greater grounds for impeachment of the President of the United States and voting the entire Congress out of office.

Can this country possibly slide any lower?

  • NickP

The Texas border alone is 12,000 miles. Can you fix this Layla? We need to know.

Did Obama plan this, not so well planned Illegal Immigrant crisis for the U.S. on purpose, to commit further harm to this country? This implies that:

As a Border Patrol Agent, all the stats and numbers dont mean a damn thing to us. Our job is frustrating. Most of us are fathers. If you have a heart or any morals you know this is wrong. My heart hurts for the young children, I’m talking about children under 10! Can you imagine your kid our kids? The parents of these minors are here they send for these kids its not the conditions in theur country, its an opportunity to get here and stay. The parents should be imprisoned for the dangerous journey and then the final river crossing? We dont let our kids ride a bike on the street, stay home alone, or let alone be outside with out our supervision. To let your baby come hundreds and thousands of miles is bull. Then we send them on a silver platter to the parents just encouraging them to tell friends and relatives to do the same! I know I am all over the map but there is just so much that I see and it hurts. Little ones in a filthy cell for 5 10 15 days that’s no way humane! Remember I am an agent but a father first and a human. The same lawmakers fighting over this are to blame. If the laws which are in black and white were enforced this would not happen. We are encouraging these illegals to continue this mass migration. My child cannot go to pre k because he speaks English and I make too much money (yeah right)! So my child is a second class citizen? So be illegal be first in line for education housing? Why not come? This is my country which I served proudly in the military and I continue to serve as a U.S. Border Patrol Agent. I hate to see it being runned by clowns and whiners who argue but never fix the problem. Our kids are going to pay for our mistakes and we as a country can only blame ourselves for allowing our so called leaders to have put us in this situation. My heart hurts tonight for our vets, the innocent children, and the men and women of the Border Patrol.

they’re not illegal aliens, they’re people just like us

we can fix the border and stop illegal immigration. It will require harsh treatment but it will stop. As long as DC is tolerant of illegals in the country and doesn’t enforce the laws it will not. Only in DC where they won’t enforce the laws and call the system broken.
